Google Plus has created a very simple widget to embed your Google Plus profile on websites. This widget generates a G+ icon which links to your profile page.

However there is a much more cool Google Plus follow widget you can add to your website.

You go to widgetsplus.com and click on the “Get widget” button, enter your Google Plus profile ID (that is number after https://plus.google.com/) and you are done.

Click on the “Get code” button and the site will generate the embed code which you can paste at any desired place on your site.

The widget uses JavaScript so it will support all blogging platforms and content management systems like WordPress, Blogger, Drupal, Joomla….

Here is an example of the widget with my Google Plus Profile. With this widget I have included updates but you can leave that out.
